What’s New This Month…

ONcourt Hall of Fame: Tennis in Canada is at an all-time popularity level. The growth of the sport is due to many factors: players, coaches, private and public sector individuals, a great army of volunteers and the demand for safe healthy activity. The legacy and contribution of many individuals are part of our Canadian tennis history. The publishers of ONcourt would like to recognize the contribution of these builders of our sport who deserve our thanks. Our first inductee is Ari Novick. Ari recently retired after leading Tennis Canada’s coaching department for 30 years. For those in the know, Ari helped create one of the major foundation of our rich tennis tradition. Ari becomes the first inductee of the ONcourt Hall of Fame.

Anyone wishing to nominate such a person should send their nomination and supporting information to ONcourt’s editor laurence@oncourt.ca.
