The recent comments on the Astra/ACE partnership from someone named Michael did touch a nerve, especially when he referred to people who I have the greatest respect for. As a result I offered Michael to own up to his comments by providing us with an article, which would detail his accusations. The only caveat was that he would provide his name, photo and tennis CV. As of today, Michael has taken the high road and has not answered our offer. It is for you to decide on the validity of his accusations. For me, once again I have taken the road less travelled [or recommended] and challenged him in the open. My daughter told me at dinner last night that I went against the recommended protocol where she works, but then she said: “But dad, you are the Bear”.

ONcourt Interview: Aws Laaribi

The college process was a long and quite stressful one for me personally. I started communicating with schools at the beginning of grade 11 (Junior Year). Of course, I couldn't have done this without the help and support from ACE Tennis and my parents. Since joining ACE in 2010, I have made a big jump in my tennis career where I was able to make it top 5 in Canada for 18 & Under, as well as cracking it in the top 200 in the world juniors ranking.

Training at ACE really helped my game mature in all aspects. I was put in a very competitive environment with many strong players together and we pushed each other in the weight room and on the tennis court. The way we trained and the daily competitiveness made the transition to college tennis a smooth one.

A great new concept has been created for the summer of 2013 which could help recruit new players to the game of tennis at a very young age in the Toronto market. All Canadian Sports Management has introduced Canada’s first progressive tennis centre at the beautiful Adventure Valley location in North York.

All-Canadian commits to over $200,000 of scholarship assistance for 2013-14 season

Pierre Lamarche president of All-Canadian Sports Management Inc., the parent company of ACE Tennis announced its plans for the selection process for athlete bursaries for the 2013-14 academic season. Lamarche said “We are proud to continue our tradition of helping deserving players and their families to continue a level of training which they could not access based on their financial situation. The scholarship committe will look at applicants for all the ACE Programs at Cedar Springs in Burlington, Toronto Tennis City in Toronto and The Astra Club in Vaughan”.
