A Spanish Experience! A Canadian Tennis Player in the Mecca of Red Clay Tennis: Barcelona

Sid Donarski is 15; he was born December 1st, 1999. He is top 5 in Canada and has multiple provincial titles. He wants to become a tennis professional. His parents are smart, educated people and are willing to make huge sacrifices for him to make his DREAM come true. In order for him to do this, his mom will teach a course at Barcelona University until June, so he can live the Barcelona clay court experience.

Doug Burke president of ACE Tennis arranged with the Jamaican Tennis Association to access Kyrylo’s leadership skills while in Montego Bay. Pierre ‘The Bear’ Lamarche: “Taiwan Diaries III”

I was a tourist for my first few days in Taiwan. Then I proceeded towards a weekend of seminars at the Taiwan National Sport Institute where I provided an overview of the principles of long-term athlete development and how they could assist the Taiwanese coaches to better develop their players. Sunday was a reward day with half a day spent at the spa testing various hot mineral streams that Taiwan is famous for. Okay the lunch at the five star Italian restaurant was not bad either. I finished my day with a great workout with Fed Cup player Chin Wei Chan and two aspiring twin sisters.

The Phenomenon of “Valan” Tennis Academy – Six First Places in International Tournament

The players of Valan Tennis Academy recently returned from Florida, where they participated in the “Little Mo International-2012” - the prestigious tennis tournament for kids ages 8 to 12. The tournament welcomed 250 participants from 35 countries of the world. Canada was represented by 23 players from different provinces.”VALAN” Tennis Academy had eight players participating. They earned six first, five second and one fourth places. That result was earned with the help of the head coach of the academy, Valeri Iagolnik.
