Hey everybody, Victor here writing to you. I was asked to be a blogger on this website which  really excited me because I felt I could use this opportunity to share my university visit experiences as I am in the midst of searching for a scholarship for the fall of 2011. Because most of you may not know who I am, or don’t know me well I’ll give you guys a little background on myself.

I was just in Florida. What I was doing in Florida for those who are curious? I was there for 2 weeks which saw me play 3 future events with my fellow training partner Norbert Nemcsek. It was originally planned before we left for Florida, that we would go out and celebrate my birthday in Miami. However my super pale and pasty friend Norbert wanted to spend the day at the hotel, by the pool, tanning; something he did every other day. Norbert, says he likes to look good for the ladies, but I don’t know what ladies he’s talking about because I don’t ever see him around any. At least he possesses a good imagination. Anyways enough about that, back to a little more info me. My background is Vietnamese, people often assume I’m Chinese because I’m Asian, but SURPRISINGLY I’m not. I have been coached by Pierre for the last 5 years, and I can honestly tell you that Pierre is the best coach I’ve ever had, and these 5 years were filled with great times and memories. At the age of 12 I didn’t know Pierre well, but I would come and practice with the group on Saturday mornings. I remember being intimidated by him because when he raises his voice it was so strong and penetrating to my ear. However as I got closer to know Pierre better, I found out that he is one funny and one down to earth man.

Anyways I’ll give you guys a little insight on my university search. Currently I’m seriously speaking to Arkansas, Michigan state, and Auburn. I have one offer thus far from University of Texas at San Antonio. This past weekend I went on a visit to Michigan State. I really enjoyed my time there as the coach along with the players on the team were very welcoming. What really amazed me was how beautiful the campus was, and the support that athletes get. I have not received an offer from them yet, but the coach said I should hear something about that early next week. This coming weekend I’m going to Arkansas for a visit, so I’m really excited for that. When I start to blog regularly I will give my thoughts on all the visits that I make. I hope you guys enjoyed what you just read in the last 5 minutes and that I didn’t bore you too much!
